Founded as New Hall in 1954, this college of the University of Cambridge gained its current name in 2008 after a significant donation from Ros and Steve Edwards. The College only admits female students. Murray Edwards sits just to the north of Cambridge city centre, and the dining hall’s dome is one of the iconic landmarks of the new colleges.
