Parking in Bootham Crescent Stadium

Bootham Crescent is the current home of York City FC. They are known to their fans as The Minstermen after York Minster, the main cathedral in York. Originally founded in 1908, they have only recently returned to the football league, following winning their first national knockout competition the 2011-12 FA Trophy. In 2018 they are due to move to York Community Stadium.

York Rail Station is roughly one mile away from the ground, representing about a 20-minute walk, through the historic city centre, which passes the city walls and the clubs namesake, York Minster.

The local area is filled with exciting attractions, including the Jorvik Centre that celebrates the city’s Viking history. Other interesting pre-match attractions are the National Railway Museum York and York Castle Museum. The ground’s Pitchside Bar and the nearby Burton Stone Inn are both pubs popular with away fans.
