What should I bring with me when I come into the hospital? 

Inpatients should bring basic toiletries, comfortable clothing and a dressing gown, any medication you’re taking, and something to keep you entertained. You will have access to a bedside cupboard during your stay. This is not lockable, so don’t use it to store valuables. If you’re bringing anything valuable, the hospital recommends giving them to the Ward Sister who will take them to storage and issue you a receipt for them. When you leave, hand the receipt back and you’ll receive your belongings.
