Cleethorpes is a seaside town that sits on the Humber estuary on the east coast in North East Lincolnshire. Cleethorpes is well known for its blue flag sandy beach, which is also a favourite of visitors, along with the sand dunes which reside near the boating lake. Some areas of the beach have been allocated as a nature reserve where many birds and animals can be spotted.

By Train:

Cleethorpes train station (DN35 8AX) serves the seaside town and is run by TransPennine Express, with Northern and East Midlands services also using the station.  It is a one minute walk from the sandy beach.

It has departures and arrivals from Manchester Piccadilly and Barton-on-Humber.

By Bus:

There is a vast public transport system that runs throughout North East Lincolnshire. This includes Cleethorpes.

By Car:

Cleethorpes sits close to the A16 and A46.

The A16 runs all the way to Peterborough and joins onto the A1 and the A46 into Leicester and joins the M1. Both the A1 and M1 go directly into London and can be joined by numerous A roads and motorways.

By Plane:

Humberside Airport  (DN39 6YH) is the closest to Cleethorpes and sits a half hour drive or a direct train journey from the closest station to the airport Barnetby train station.

It has flights across the whole of the UK as well as Europe.

There is free on-street parking for two hours on Central and North Promenade for disabled blue badge holders. Blue badges must be displayed in vehicles at all times and parking wholly in the lines.
