The Edinburgh Marina is a jointly owned venture of the two yacht clubs at Granton, the Royal Forth Yacht Club and Forth Corinthian Yacht Club. It is the only marina that is within easy reach of the centre of the City of Edinburgh, with direct bus links to the City and Edinburgh Airport.

The Marina can welcome boats that are up to 70 ft. 

Edinburgh Marina Development

A new waterside development is planned around the 427 berths Edinburgh Marina, its Clubhouse and Scotland’s first Hyatt Regency Spa and Conference Hotel.

The goal is to make Edinburgh Marina a new destination only 2 miles (3.2 km) from the City Centre and less than 8 miles (12.8 km) from Edinburgh International Airport.

The development is expected to be completed by the year 2020.

Parking at the Edinburgh Marina under the current layout is very hard to come by.  To find parking bays within close proximity of the Marina you can use the council’s interactive map.

The new Edinburgh Marina under development, however, will include improved amenities, including dedicated secure parking with electric charging points. 

Other improvements will include:

• 427 fully serviced berths.
• new 800 sqm Clubhouse with shop/chandlery

• changing rooms
