Heath Hospital, otherwise known as the University Hospital of Wales, is located on Heath Park Way near Heath Park. It’s about 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Cardiff. It first opened in 1971, and today has over 1000 hospital beds. It’s a teaching hospital and is affiliated with the Cardiff University School of Medicine. The Concourse is located on the ground floor within the main entrance of the hospital. The Y Gegin restaurant is located on the upper ground floor of A Block and is open 7 days a week.
