Where is Devizes located?

What is there to do in Devizes? 

Devizes has a weekly market on Thursdays with fresh produce, furniture, clothing, artisan goods, and more. The Wiltshire Museum tells the story of Wiltshire's history and its people and also features items from Stonehenge. Just outside of town is the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which stretches over 670 square miles. If you don’t mind a bit of a drive, the famous Stonehenge is only 25 minutes’ drive away.

What events does Devizes host? 

Devizes is home to the annual Devizes International Street Festival & Carnival which takes place in August. Here, you can enjoy street performers, a contemporary circus, street market, and events such as the Picnic in The Park, a Confetti Battle, and a Carnival Parade

Devizes also hosts an annual Devizes Lantern Parade in late November to December. You can visit the Seasonal Market and enjoy artisan gifts, food and drink. There are light shows, performers, and you can even contribute your own lantern to the parade.
