There are car parking facilities available at Bristol Zoo, with two main car parks. There is also an overflow car park on Ladies Mile on Durdham Downs at peak times of the year. There is a £4.50 parking charge for visitors and a £2.50 charge for Members. Payment can only be made by contactless credit or debit card. It is not possible to make a cash payment for Bristol Zoo parking.
Parking is limited and you are not guaranteed a space. If you find that the car parks are full, you can find limited parking in on street pay and display parking bays in the streets surrounding the zoo. Be aware that restrictions apply and there are charges in place on Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. After 5pm and on weekends, on street parking is free in pay and display on street spaces.

Train:
The easiest way to reach Bristol Zoo is to take the local train to Clifton Down station. From there, it is a ten minute stroll past Clifton Suspension Bridge to get to Bristol Zoo. Alternatively, from Bristol Temple Meads station, you can take the 8 or 9 bus service straight to the zoo’s main entrance. The Bristol Temple Meads station has regular national connections to a wide range of destinations.

The First Bus number 8 runs between Temple Meads station, Bristol city centre and Bristol Zoo. You can also catch the Bristol Community Transport 505 service which runs between Long Ashton Park and Ride and Southmead Hospital.
