What festivals does the town host?

Tenterden hosts the Tenterden Christmas Market, the May Fayre, the Tenterden Folk Festival, and the Spirit of Tenterden Festival. The Tenterden Christmas Market runs over three days and has over 80 stalls along the High Street. You’ll find local artisan food and street food, pop-up art installations, live music, exhibitions, a light parade, and a visit from Santa for the children. The Tenterden Folk Festival happens on the first weekend of October every year, and has been running for more than 25 years. There is live music, a craft market, and a procession with Morris Dancers. The Spirit of Tenterden Festival is an annual volunteer-run community festival. It has live music, beer and ale, arts and crafts, antiques and collectables, and even a dog show.
