The Acorn Centre is a children’s health care facility that offers integrated physical and mental health services specifically to young people from birth to age 19. 

A wide range of services and care are provided, including paediatrics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, CAMHS, and speech and language therapy.  

The Acorn Centre is operated by the North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), which previously has offered similar services, but from 13 different locations. 

The opening of the Acorn Centre meant that care and support for young people would be provided in one centralised hub, which was beneficial to children and their parents. 

Facilities were improved, treatment plans could be discussed with a wider team of specialists, and children could see more than one specialist in one appointment.
