Parking in Newport Medieval Ship Centre

A merchant vessel from the 15th century known as the Newport Medieval Ship was dug up in 2002 during the construction of the Riverfront Theatre. A team of archaeologists lifted it from the riverbank timber by timber, and it was relocated to the Newport Medieval Ship Centre, where visitors can see its ongoing restoration in progress. Visiting is free, but donations are appreciated.
