Nantwich is a medieval market town located about an hour’s drive south of Manchester and Liverpool. There is a range of council parking in Nantwich. In most places, charges apply from between 8am - 6pm from Monday to Saturday, with parking free on Sundays. At Snow Hill, you can park for free after 3pm. These charges apply on all bank holidays except for Christmas Day. You must pay as soon as you park.

There are several regulations for council-provided parking in Nantwich:

• Vehicles must display a paid parking ticket or a paid by phone ticket. 
• Vehicles must be parked within a marked bay. 
• Tickets cannot be transferred between vehicles and car parks. 
• Disabled parks may only be used by blue badge holders. 
• You must have a valid permit to use reserved parking. 

There are several conditions of use of council car parks in Nantwich:

• Parked vehicles must not weigh more than 3.5 tonnes. 
• Parked vehicles must be licensed and insured. 
• You must not run the engine of your vehicle as it is parked. 
• You must not create enough noise to disturb other residents or users of the car park, or behave in a threatening manner to others. 
• Parked vehicles must not block others from accessing roads. 
• You cannot erect a tent/booth/building/other structure in a car park without written consent from the council. 
• You cannot light fires in car parks. 
• You cannot use the car park to sleep, camp, cook, eat, or wash your vehicle (unless necessary to allow you to leave the car park). 
• You must follow all signs and road markings. 

There is also on-street parking available. For residents, each permit lasts 1 year, and you can hold up to 2 permits at a time. The first permit will cost £60, and the second will cost £75. If you have off-road parking for 1 car, you may buy 1 permit. If you have off-road parking for 2 cars, you cannot get a permit for on-street parking. 

To apply for a permit, you’ll need the application form (found on the council website), payment, a copy of the vehicle registration document, and proof of your address.
