Parking in Angel

Angel is an area located within the borough of Islington a short distance from central London and yet outside the congestion zone. The area is named after The Angel Inn, which dates back to the 17^th Century and is one of the properties available in the British version of Monopoly and it is also referenced in Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist.

The Main tube station in the area is Angel Tube Station. It is situated upon the Northern Line and provides services to Bank, King’s Cross St Pancras, Leicester Square, and Embankment. This means there is quick and easy access to some of the city’s most important business centres and tourist attractions. As a result, parking near Angel Tube Station is often in high demand. To secure a spot, it is generally easier and cheaper to book your parking space in advance.

Angel is a popular location for restaurants, bars, and pubs. The O2 Academy Islington is a perpetually busy music venue with events on almost nightly, and it has hosted some of the most famous musicians and comedians since opening in 2002.  It is also within easy reach of The British Museum, Covent Garden, and Oxford Street via a short trip on the Northern Line.
