One space located on Kedleston Road in Derby. The space is suitable for vehicles up to the size of a Large - (4x4). At this location there is Arranged transfers, CCTV, Security lighting and Electric charging.
The space is available 24 hours on all days. You can enter/exit this location multiple times throughout the duration of your booking.
Driveway in a very respectable neighbourhood, close to Derby University (approx 800m) & Markeaton Park (400m).
There is no parking at the University for students & parking is prohibited on all roads around the campus (they issue parking fines & neighbours complain - don't risk it!)
The public car park for the Uni is at Markeaton Park (DE22 3BE). Whilst the park itself is green & lovely, the car parking is much less secure. Overnight parking should not be considered. The walk between Uni & carpark is the same distance as to my drive, but is not illuminated - not good on dark nights. I'm on the main road, fully lit from the uni.
I aim to be cheaper than the public car park, which is £5.20 per day (£1.70/hour).
There is a nice pub (family friendly) directly across the road from us.
Frequent buses to town, taxi is about £6 or easy to walk it.
Motorbike? Come park for free.
Airport: Ask if a lift is needed.
Electric charge point: ask beforehand if needed.
