The walk into Witney is via a picturesque paved footpath which crosses Langdale Common and the River Windrush and goes past the Cogges Farm Museum. This walk can save an hour's drive especially if coming from Oxford as the parking side is on the Oxford side of Witney. This saves trying to drive through the middle of Witney.
