Toyota has confirmed prices and specifications for the new RAV4 Plug-In and Highlander Hybrid SUVs.
The Japanese firm will introduce a plug-in hybrid version of one of the UK’s most popular SUVs from the start of January, with the RAV4 Plug-In starting from £47,395.
Available to order from 4th January 2021, the RAV4 Plug-In will feature a 46 mile electric-only driving range. Economy statistics come in at just 22 g/km CO2 and 282mpg, representing a BIK rate of 6% for company car drivers.
Offered in Dynamic or Dynamic Premium, the RAV4 Plug-In will charge at 6.6 kW for fast charging, and will come fitted with 19-inch alloys, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, heated front and rear seats, and LED headlights.
Dynamic Premium adds black leather upholstery, vented front seats, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, and premium JBL stereo, with prices staring at £50,895. Deliveries will start in Q2 2021.
The Highlander Hybrid has been made available for the first time in the UK, with the Highlander name now on its fourth-generation for the large SUV. Prices for the seven-seat conventional hybrid will start at £50,595 with order books also opening on 4th January and deliveries due to start in March 2021.
Available trim levels at launch will be Excel and Excel Premium, with standard specification including 20-inch alloys, leather upholstery, three-zone air-conditioning, a panoramic sunroof, and premium JBL stereo. Premium adds a head-up display, power tailgate, heated rear seats, and 360-degree camera.
