UK pricing and specifications for the Mercedes Benz EQA have been announced. The pure-electric crossover will come with a range of up to 263 miles on a charge.
Two trim levels will be available - EQA 250 Sport and EQA 250 AMG Line - with the same powertrain for each. This sees a 66.5 kWh battery power a 140 kW electric motor. The former can be charged at up to 100 kW DC from ultra-rapid charge points and at up to 11 kW from AC units.
Navigation with Electric Intelligence features on both variants, which is Mercedes Benz’s system that calculates the fastest route to get the driver to their destination, taking into account charging times where required. A three-year Mercedes Me Charge subscription for public charge points is included for new EQA buyers.
Sport models come with 18-inch alloys, Seat Comfort package, LED headlights with active high beam assist, parking pack with reversing camera, cruise control, climate control, heated front seats, MBUX multimedia system - with two 10-inch displays - and smartphone integration. AMG Line trim adds AMG Line design details, 20-inch alloys, sports seats, and aluminium trim.
The Mercedes Benz EQA is available to order now, with deliveries due in spring 2021. Prices start at £40,495 for the EQA 250 Sport and £41,995 for the EQA 250 AMG Line. Both prices include the £3,000 UK Government Plug-in Car Grant, which the Mercedes Benz EQA hasn’t yet been approved for. However, it meets all the criteria required, so approval is expected to be confirmed before models arrive in showrooms.
