Maserati has announced that its Folgore fully-electric strategy will be completed by 2025, with the Italian manufacturer’s first pure-electric model due to arrive next year.
The first model to be available as a pure-EV will be Maserati’s next GranTurismo, there first in the Bologna firm’s history to be available as an electric car.
Also due on 2023 will be an electric version of the soon to be launched Grecale SUV, followed within the next few years by EV models of the MC20 sportscar, next-generation Quattroporte saloon, and new Levante SUV.
Now part of the Stellantis group, Maserati will enter the electric Formula E World Championship in 2023, as electrification plans ramp up for the prestigious brand.
