Nissan has announced lower pricing and improved equipment levels for its Leaf range. The best-selling EV sees a new entry-level 62 kWh model, and a lower OTR Price for the top-of-the-range Tekna e+.
Specifications for both 40 kWh and 62 kWh models are boosted for models built from 16th November. Included are an Intelligent Rearview Mirror on Tekna models, shark-fin antenna from N-Connecta trim, plus Blindspot Intervention and telescopic steering wheel adjustment on all specifications.
The new Nissan Leaf e+ N-Connecta means the Japanese firm’s largest battery variant is now available in two trim levels, and buyers will be able to get the 62 kWh Leaf from £32,695. At the same time, the price of the flagship Leaf e+ Tekna has been reduced by £1,685 to £34,710.
The Intelligent Rearview Mirror builds a screen into the driver’s mirror, which can display images from a rear-mounted camera - useful when the Leaf is loaded high or if adults are seated in the rear. The display can be switched between the screen and conventional mirror as required.
Prices for the Leaf start at £26,845 for the 40 kWh model, and £32,695 for the Leaf e+ 62 kWh version.
