Hall Place and Gardens: Touted as ‘one of the South East’s best-kept secrets’, the historic house and garden has events throughout the year with a focus on education. Entrance to the garden is free, while entrance to the hall costs £10 or £24.50 for a family – well worth it when considering the amount of history there is to soak up.

Riverside Shopping Centre: Located in the heart of Erith, there are over 35 stores to check out and a number of great food and drink establishments to stop by at while taking a break from shopping. There is even a soft play area for the kids at Kassiopi Cove.

Danson Park: Not too far away in Welling is Danson Park, one of London’s best open spaces. It features a boating lake, with a boathouse restaurant, and picturesque woodland and green areas. By Train: Erith Station is serviced by Southeastern with trains to Dartford, Gillingham, Gravesend, London Cannon Street, and London Charing Cross. On the same line is Slade Green Railway Station and it serves the eastern part of town.
