Princess of Wales Hospital is a deep-rooted and respected community hospital, that resides the cathedral city of Ely, in the heart of Cambridgeshire in the East of England. It is managed by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

The former RAF establishment which opened its doors in 1939 where it treated military casualties of all kinds during the Second World War. Before joining the NHS in 1948 and after a visit by Diana, Princess of Wales in 1987, changed its name respectively to the Princess of Wales Royal Air Force Hospital. The facility was set to close in 1992, however was subsequently saved and now provides excellent services to the community as the Princess of Wales Ely Hospital.

The hospital is open from 8.30am to 6.00pm on weekdays and 9.00am to 5.00pm on weekends. It has its own Minor Injury Unit (MIU) which can deal with a variety of minor injuries and illnesses like broken bones, minor head and burn injuries, sprains, cuts and more.

Within the building the hospital provides services such as Dynamic health musculoskeletal, Dental healthcare and Uro-Gynaecological physiotherapy, as well as Neuropsychological rehabilitation and Child and young people health services in the Oliver Zangwill Centre.
