By Car: Bedford Hospital’s South Wing is close to the town centre and can be accessed by following the A6 or A5141 Kempston Road. Gilbert Hitchcock House - the North Wing - can be found on B660 Kimbolton Road.

By Train: Bedford Hospital can be accessed via a short walk or taxi from Bedford Station, or the smaller Bedford St. Johns station. Services at Bedford St. John’s station are limited as it is an unmanned station.

By Bus: You can catch the number 1 bus from the Bedford Bus Station to the Hospital. Routes 2, 23, 53 and 68 also run to Bedford Hospital from around the local area. There is also a Park and Ride service operating from Elstow Park. This runs from 7:00am - 11:00pm Monday to Saturday and 10:00am to 5:15pm on Sundays; under 5 children travel for free, adults for £2.80 and children aged 5-15 for £1.90.
