Parking in Richmond

A list of all the charging points in the borough can be found on the Richmond Council Website. These charging points are part of Source London - a London-wide membership scheme for electric vehicle drivers. Any vehicle that is licensed with the DVLA as a pure electric or a plug-in hybrid vehicle can join the scheme. This includes motorbikes, cars, vans and scooters.

• In the Council's car parks without paying and without time limit
• On a single or double yellow line without payment for up to three hours, provided that no loading prohibition is in force. You are required to display your clock set to the time of your arrival with your Blue Badge. Both clock and Badge must be clearly visible from outside the vehicle.
• On Twickenham Event Days, all Blue Badge holders are permitted to park within Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ R). The stadium also has facilities for disabled parking, however, these are limited and need to be applied for in advance

Does Richmond station have parking?

Richmond Station parking is available at the station car park and NPC’s nearby London Richmond Station car park, however, prices tend to be high. Can you park on a single yellow line in Richmond?

Single yellow lines commonly operate only on weekdays, however, they always are in operation for the hours shown on the signs by the line, or for the hours of the Controlled Parking Zone they are in. This means that they can operate on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays and you must take care to observe restrictions when parking on single yellow lines.

Is it free parking on Good Friday?

Parking in central areas of Richmond is still restricted on Good Friday, for example, on the Richmond parking zones map, Richmond Town zone has restrictions in place on Sundays and Bank Holidays. However, in Richmond Hill, South East Richmond and Hammersmith Bridge area, Bank Holidays including Good Friday, and Public Holidays, are free of charge.
