Radlett is a prosperous town in the Hertfordshire county in England and is situated between St Albans and Elstree. It is ideally found inside the M25 motorway corridor. The commuter town lies only 14 miles northwest of central London. In Britain it is one of the most affluent places and outside of London is the second most expensive place to buy property. Many premier league footballers have lived in the rich town like Kolo Toure, Alex Song and Dennis Wise.
The main road that runs through Radlett is called Watling street is one of the oldest tracks in Britain. There is evidence found from archaeological discoveries that Radlett was inhabited back in the Stone Age. Watling Street is a haven of numerous local and independent shops and restaurants along with some chain retailers. It is the main hub of the town. A 300 seat theatre is also housed in the town called the Radlett centre.
Radlett became somewhat of a tourist attraction and multiple popular books and stage plays were made due to the Radlett murder or Elstree murder as it was also known in 1823. William Weare was killed on Gills Hill Lane, known as Murder Lane and his body was disposed off in a pond in Elstree.
