Manchester is a city in Northern England and has been most generally known to be England’s second city, behind London. Previously a dynamo of industry, now a main cultural focal point, widely notorious for its nightlife, vast libraries and undoubtedly it’s sporting history, in football particularly. It is a richly diverse city home to a melting pot of nationalities.
The award winning Manchester Christmas Markets showcase over 300 exquisitely adorned chalets and stalls, that are widespread throughout the city centre, making the whole of this vibrant city feel festive. Both Local and European producers come together to offer all that you could ever need for Christmas, showcasing everything from clothes, toys, jewellery, crafts and more.
Manchester’s Christmas Market is also celebrated for the traditional bratwurst, however, those calling in on the market can also sample delicacies such as the antiquated hog roast, the popular Spanish paella dish or the warming Hungarian goulash, alongside vegetarian and vegan options and those of a more sweeter kind.
The Christmas markets are open and free to all.
